Readaptation Concept Art

December 7, 2008

concept art the city in the sea Edgar Allan Poe.

This is some concept art I drew for our ‘readaptation’ project in Pedro’s class.

The readaptation brief was pretty self explanitory we took the ‘Adaptation’ storyboard work of another group and destroyed played around with it, keeping or changing things as we saw fit.

The storyboard we chose was based on the poem ‘The City In The Sea’ by Edgar Allan Poe.

This was made in Photoshop because our group held a few group disscsions online and I was to lazy to scan in sketchbook work digital drawing was quicker.

Character Design Collab’

November 24, 2008

Drawn 31st October ’08.

Collaborative drawing with Justin McCullen for supporting studies.

It’s always a party at the opticians! You can see my character (bottom right corner) checking out the glasses whilst Justine’s character (the beekeeper) eats some.

So you know, that cat is just giving that girl a hug (on her face).
